本文是经典爱情电影听力系列The Lake House(湖边小屋，又叫“触不到的恋人”)的第二十段对白听力。

　　Alex父亲去世，Kate给他一本两年以后才出版的父亲的著作，试图抚慰他失去父亲的伤痛。Alex能感受到这丝丝的柔情，却触摸不到。他无法忍受这样只有书信往来的联系方式，决定要与Kate见面。两人约定在一个叫Il Mare的餐馆见面。

　　对Kate来说约定就在明天，但是对Alex来说，却有两年的时间，他们能见面吗？

Alex：Pick a place. I´ll be there, I promise. Tomorrow, what do you say?

Kate：But, Alex, it won´t be tomorrow for you. You´re gonna have to wait two years.

Alex：I know, I don´t care. I´ll wait.

Kate：Are you sure? I don´t know.

Alex：I do. I´ve never been so sure of anything in my life.

Kate：Okay. I´ll see you in two years, then.

Alex：See you tomorrow, then. Kate, where would you like to go?

Kate：Il Mare.

Receptionist：When were you hoping to dine with us?

Alex：Two years from tomorrow.

Receptionist：Two years from tomorrow?

Alex：Yeah.

Receptionist：Two years?

Alex：From tomorrow.

Kate：Hi.

Receptionist：Hello. Name?

Kate：Forster.

Receptionist：Can I have your name?

Alex：Wyler.

----------

Kate：Or Wyler, I´m...I´m really not sure.

Receptionist：I think we should be able to accommodate you.

----------

Alex：Great.

----------

Receptionist：Wyler? Wyler. Your waiter will be right with you.
