A dramatic increase in initial public offerings by emerging market companies this year has raised $53.7bn so far on global markets.

Dealogic公司的数据显示，今年前5个月，新兴市场企业的筹资额达到创纪录水平，相当于2006年全年水平的一半。

The funds raised are the highest level on record for the first five months of the year, according to Dealogic, and represent half the volume for all of 2006.
