UK airports were operating under heightened security measures yesterday, especially over the use of cars to drop off or pick up passengers. But there were few reports of delays to flights except at Glasgow, where Saturday´s attack took place.

General advice to business travellers was to allow extra time for journeys and check on the website for each airport to see what arrangements were being made.

The attacks also spurred limited reactions in other European countries, where security around busy transport hubs was stepped up.
