本周二，中国大陆发表了今年春节飞往台湾的包机计划，此计划将于2007年2月18日开始实施。国务院台湾事务办公室发言人李伟伊说：大陆和台湾双方都同意，从2月5日开始，在14太内内将有来自两岸航空公司的的96次航班飞过台湾海峡。预计包机将在大陆的北京，上海，广州和台湾的台北，高雄之间往返。

China's mainland on Wednesday published the plan for chartered passenger flights to Taiwan during the next Chinese New Year holiday, which falls on Feb.18, 2007.

Li Weiyi, spokesman of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said the flights -- agreed by both sides -- would begin on Feb. 5, and mainland and Taiwan airlines would make 96 flights across the Taiwan Strait over the 14-day period.

The chartered passenger flights are expected to shuttle between Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou on the mainland, and Taipei and Kaohsiung, on Taiwan.
