Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will pay an official visit to China from April 16 to 20 at the invitation of Chinese Primer Wen Jiabao, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang announced on Tuesday.

We are looking forward to promoting good-neighborly and cooperative relations between China and Pakistan through Aziz's upcoming visit, Qin said at a regular press conference.

Qin said he hoped both sides could have an in-depth exchange of views on major international and regional issues to reach more consensuses and propel bilateral relations.

China and Pakistan are friendly neighbors, he said, adding that the bilateral friendship has never changed despite kaleidoscopic changes in international situation.

From April 20 to 21, Aziz will attend the annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) to be held in south China's Hainan Province, Qin told a routine press conference.

The BFA was established in 2001 with the aim to realize prosperity in Asia. The BFA annual conference brings together senior government officials, business executives as well as leading academics whose activities affect Asia.

外交部发言人秦刚在星期二宣布，巴基斯坦总理阿齐兹应中国总理温家宝的邀请,将在4月16日至20日对中国进行正式访问。秦刚在例行新闻发布会上说：“我们希望通过阿齐兹即将到来的访问推动中巴睦邻合作关系。秦刚说他希望双方对重大的国际和地区事务能够深入交换意见，达成广泛的一致，推动双边关系发展。他说，中国和巴基斯坦是友好邻邦，尽管国际形势千变万化，但双方的友好关系从来没有改变。秦刚在例行的新闻会上说，从4月20日到4月21日，阿齐兹将要出席在中国海南省举办的亚洲博螯论坛年会。博螯论坛成立于2001年，目标是实现亚洲的繁荣。论坛年会吸引了政府高官、企业执行官和行为影响亚洲的主要研究机构。
