     Recordable DVDs are just one of the new technologies for recording television. Hardd drive recorders ,like Tivo ,are also very popular, but you can’t move the recording with Tivo ,you can’t take a copy over to a friend’s house, because it’s locked inside the unit.Recordable DVD can be moved from one player to another .The only thing you won’t be able to do is record other movies.
